Village Public Beach and Pavilion
Located 1/4 mile south of the intersection of routes 8 and 30. Basketball court, softball field, barbecue pit, picnic tables, children's play area, and small boat/canoe launch.

Sacandaga River Community
Park
A handicapped-accessible nature walk through
a mix of wetlands and quiet woods with boardwalks,
picnic tables, barbecues, canoe landing, and
meditation area. Five interpretive stations
featuring native guides, logging history,
aboriginal peoples, etc. Many interpretive
signs identifying ferns, flowers, etc. Entrance
located at rear of Village Pavilion.

Mountain Biking Trail
System
Hit the trail in Speculator, where
you can bike “The Speculator Loop” which was featured in the Adirondack Life
2003 Annual Guide. The trail system consists
of two bike loops which are wide, hard-packed
logging roads that vary in terrain.

Lake Pleasant Golf Course
A challenging and well-maintained nine-hole
course located on Route 8 just three miles

Oak Mountain Ski Center

Located on Elm Lake Road - just east of the
intersection of Routes 8 and 30. New quad
lift, tubing, snow-making, night-skiing, new

Municipal Tennis Courts
Two courts located near Oak Mountain Ski Center
entrance, and two courts located across from
Lake Pleasant Golf Course. All four newly
refinished. Free.
